Entering the gates, you get the first glimpse of UMA SENI set in the center of a lush Tropical Garden surrounded by traditional Balinese buildings , far removed from the hustle & bustle of the outside world, an oasis of peace.

UMA SENI is truly unique, the only place in Bali where the splendor of authentic ancient art from all of Indonesia may be viewed under one roof. It might be called Museum, and indeed it is, but with the difference that all artefacts are well displayed and lovingly cared for by the friendly owners, Rosana and Gunter Weber, who call Bali their home since nearly 40 years.

UMA SENI is a delightful home where art and people , western and traditional Balinese architecture and modern amenities exist side by side in harmony.

The spacious Living Room, appropriately called PURI or palace, is built in traditional Balinese style, housing the magnificent Bali collection worth of being displayed in the palace of a Balinese king.

The exquisite collection of

• KERISES, Daggers and Swords from BALI and the OTHER ISLANDS
• the BATAK highland people
• the archaic people of NIAS and
• the splendour of ACEHNESE nobility

are displayed around the inner walkway, which overlooks the garden and pool located in the center of the house, whereas the collection of BORNEO, CELEBES, JAVANESE and PAPUAN artefacts are displayed in the accordingly named bedrooms.
